Curriculum vitae for Malte Chr. Lyneborg:
Mag. art. in philosophy from Copenhagen University.
Has since 2006 been editor at Arena Publishing, Arena Forfatternes Forlag, working with the publishing of various books. Of philosophical interest could be mentioned that I will begin a new line of philosophy of aesthetics, beginning with a translation of Gernot Böhme’s “Architektur und Atmosphäre”.
Since 2006 I have been working with Søren Robert Lund Architects connected to a prequalification project, and we just started on a new project about metropolzonen. This work is done thorugh my own firm.
Works as free lance writer.
I also work with making radio montages. My next project in October is as freelancer at DR, P1, Ultralyd to produce a 30 minute radio montage about “Disturbances in the Self-awareness in Schizophrenia” which will be an introduction to the theories of Parnas and Zahavi in connection to schizophrenia. The ambition is among other to communicate how it is like to experience a psychosis. At the same time I work at a second montage program for Ultralyd taking the point of departure in “Analysis of Governmentality”.
In August-September 2006 I was philosophical advisor hired by the Chef of Department H. Nepper-Christensen at The Danish Ministry of Family and Food to make ethics and governmentality-inspired strategies for affecting the producers to produce higher food quality and reinforcing the concept of the political consumer.
In 2005-6 I got scholarship stipend from the priority area Body and Mind at The University of Copenhagen and made a presentation of my work for the committee.
In 2005 I gave lectures at The School of Architecture in Copenhagen and The School of Architecture in Aarhus.
In 2004 I have done practical training at the Danish National Radio, P1, working with communicating philosophy, literature and existential material.
Philosophical Studies: I have been loosely connected to The Centre for Subjectivity Research, University of Copenhagen since 2004 as a master student – participating at the Tuesday meetings and the conferences. I wrote my master thesis in this context with Dan Zahavi as supervisor.
Beside my study at The University of Copenhagen, Department at Philosophy, my study have included a semester in Rome in 2006 (Università Roma I, La Sapienza by prof. E. Ferrario), and a year in respectively Madrid (Universidad de Complutense by prof. J. Santos Guerrero, 2001), Paris (Sorbonne; Centre-Sèvres: Faculté de Philosophie des Jésuites en France by prof. J.-P. Labbarière, 2002) and Berlin (Humbolt Universität by prof. R.-P. Horstmann and D. Henrich, 2003). The motivation for having been away from Copenhagen that long was at that time the Copenhagen University didn’t offer courses corresponding to my philosophic interests, and beside that I was motivated by an interest in learning the languages for being better to read texts in their original language.
I wrote my master thesis on Center for Subjectivity Research and Department of Philosophy, Copenhagen Fpr a description of the project "A Philosophical Problematizing of the concept of the Self"
